"You can't pour from an empty cup.

My passion for helping and assisting people started at an early age while completing community service work through agencies such as United Way of Northeast Louisiana and Girl Scouts of America. I loved that selfless acts could make others feel accomplished and worthy. It was these experiences that led me to the field of Social Work.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Louisiana. I graduated in 2010 with a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work from the University of Louisiana at Monroe and in 2014 with a Master of Social Work from Grambling State University. I have over 14 years of experience providing therapy to children, adults, couples, and families while empowering them to reach their emotional goals.

I serve on the board of Birth Well Shreveport, a non-profit committed to addressing maternal and infant health disparities through education, advocacy, and culturally sensitive support. Our organization recognizes the urgent need to advocate for the BIPOC community in Shreveport, Louisiana, and surrounding areas, striving to improve birth outcomes for marginalized and underserved populations.

I also serve as a Community Board Advisor for the Southern Center for Maternal Health Equity where the mission is to address the maternal health crisis in the southern U.S. and nationwide.
